Ranveer Singh on fatherhood, life after daughter Dua’s birth: Been on daddy duty…

Actor Ranveer Singh has been on cloud nine ever since the arrival of his daughter, Dua Padukone Singh. At a recent event in Mumbai, he opened up about his experience of fatherhood, sharing that he has been experiencing immense joy and that words cannot express the feeling.
A video circulating on social media shows a visibly elated Ranveer Singh discussing his experiences as a new father. He says, “I have been on daddy duty for a long time now. I am ready to let loose with you all. That infinite happiness I’m experiencing right now.” He continued, “I wish I had the words to express what it’s like, but, there are no words, in any language, that can describe this happiness.”

Additionally, he spoke about his wife Deepika Padukone, stating what its like to have a partner in life. He says, “Dukh hota hai na if you share it woh kam hojata hai and if you are happy kuch khushi milti hai aapko, if you share it, woh dugni ho jati hai (sadness, if you share it with someone it decreases and if you are happy, it doubles after sharing). It’s like magic (sic).”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their first child, a daughter, into their family on September 8, 2024.
